Quirky and quite different for me to read something about witches but I found Killian a bit too blasé about things. He didn't quite come across as a Master Witch to me. I liked the story progression and the secondary characters like Jimmy, Lavendar and Sammy were nicely written and I found Blaine a good match Killian. Alyosius was the scene stealer though.
